The Great Apostle has given us a map to use in our presentation of the good news to friends and family members. The ancient outline for explaining faith in Christ is easily adapted to your own personal story. It gives you a set of four "pegs" around which to construct your own unique approach.
The Book of Romans was written by Paul to help Christians of both Jewish and Gentile background to understand the good news about salvation in Christ. It is the closest thing to a theological treatise we have from the pen of Paul. It moves logically from expounding on the human condition to explaining the saving work of Christ on the cross. It describes the kind of response that saving faith produces. And it ends with practical application for every believer.
Every follower of Jesus should be equipped with a plan for explaining the gospel to those who inquire.
